QuietCert LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates QuietScore™ at getquietscore.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our Service. By using QuietScore™, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers.

This policy applies to all visitors and users of getquietscore.com and any related subdomains or services operated by QuietCert LLC. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from our Service.

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, search queries entered, building detail pages viewed, timestamps, browser type, and IP address. Collected automatically via server logs and analytics.
  • Contact Information: Email address, if you contact us or sign up for updates.
  • Waitlist / Feature Requests: Name, email, and building information if you submit a waitlist form or building feature request.
  • Cookies & Local Storage: We use cookies and browser local storage to preserve session state (e.g., admin authentication tokens). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Public-Source Data

QuietScore™ building scores are derived exclusively from publicly available data sources, including city records, permit databases, 311 complaint data, and publicly posted tenant reviews. We do not collect or store private tenant information beyond what is already in the public record.

6. How We Use Information

  • To operate, improve, and personalize the Service
  • To respond to inquiries and support requests
  • To send transactional emails (e.g., waitlist confirmations)
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To analyze aggregate usage trends (non-personally-identifiable)

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising or sell it to third parties.

7. Disclosure of Information

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., hosting, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations.

We retain usage data for up to 24 months, after which it is aggregated or deleted. Contact and waitlist information is retained until you request deletion or until it is no longer needed for the purpose collected. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@getquietscore.com.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to request deletion of your information
  • The right to opt out of certain data uses
